The Moto Buds feature a single 12.4mm dynamic driver, whereas the Moto Buds+ have two dynamic drivers: an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. These earphones provide up to 50dB ANC for the Moto Buds and up to 46dB ANC for the Moto Buds+, with three preset noise cancellation modes: Clarity, Adaptive, and Noise Cancellation.
The Moto Buds+ are distinguished by their "Sound by Bose" certification and include Dolby Head Tracking technology, which adjusts audio based on head movement, as well as support for Dolby Atmos. Both models are Hi-Res Audio certified and include a triple microphone system with integrated environmental noise cancellation (ENC) for improved call clarity.
The Moto Buds app, available on the Play Store for Android devices, allows users to personalize their experience by customizing touch functions and equalizer settings. The iOS version of the app is currently in development and is expected to be released soon.
The Moto Buds claim up to 42 hours of battery life and up to nine hours of playback on a single charge, which can be increased to two hours with a 10-minute quick charge. The Moto Buds+ have a slightly shorter battery life of up to 38 hours, but they can still play for up to eight hours and three hours on a 10-minute quick charge. Both charging cases support USB Type-C charging, and the Moto Buds+ case supports wireless charging.
These earbuds are ideal for a variety of environments, thanks to the charging case's IPX4 splash resistance rating and the Moto Buds+ earphones' IP54 dust and splash resistance rating. They support Bluetooth 5.3, which allows for unlimited pairing and stable connectivity. The Moto Buds Charging Case weighs 36 grams, while the Moto Buds+ weighs 42.8 grams, providing portability without sacrificing durability.
Motorola's Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ provide an appealing combination of advanced features, customization options, and long-lasting battery life, meeting today's diverse consumer needs.
